Sometimes the history of the company is just as important as the products and services they provide. We got in the water filtration industry in 1986 out of necessity. The copper pipes in our 100-year-old farm house was deteriorating and my father worked with someone that had a water filtration business on the side. After we installed the filter in our home, which is still in operation today, we started installing and servicing filters for the person my father knew from work. In 1989 my father left the corporate job that he had and started his own filtration business. We were incorporated as Household Water Specialist, Inc in 1992.
