Projects That We Are Supporting

Drink Local. Drink Tap.

We pledge to provide safe water to 10,000 people in Uganda by 2020.

DLDT works locally and globally to inspire individuals to recognize and solve our water issues through creative education and events, and by providing people in need with access to safe water. Erin Huber, DLDT’s executive director and founder, travels several times per year to Africa to plan, implement and follow-up on DLDT water projects. DLDT works with local people in east Africa to build safe, sustainable water sources in rural school communities, refugee settlements and city slums.

Just a Drop

We pledge to complete 1 project in Zambia.

Just a Drop provides clean water and sanitation facilities to some of the poorest communities around the world through the construction of wells, boreholes, pipelines, hand pumps and latrines. It also encourages the establishment of health, hygiene and sanitation training programs. We commit to complete a very special project in Zambia. The project will provide fresh, clean drinking water to a community where clean water is scarce.

Madi Drop

We pledge ongoing support.

MadiDrop is a public benefit company that manufactures and distributes safe drinking water technologies to communities throughout the world. It currently has household drinking water and safe water storage projects underway in Afghanistan, the Amazon, Cambodia, Haiti, India, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Axel Johnson, our parent company, is contributing to a second round of bridge funding which will increase manufacturing capabilities at the company’s Virginia-based facility.
