Kinetico® Names New Vice President and General Manager for Europe


Bernhard Scholten Selected to Drive European Growth

NEWBURY, Ohio—Kinetico Incorporated, a leading manufacturer of water treatment systems based in Ohio, announces the appointment of Bernhard Scholten as vice president and general manager for its European operations. Scholten comes from Monitor Company, a global growth and strategy advisory firm with locations around the world. Scholten was based in Madrid, Spain, and co-founded Monitor's office in Mexico. The appointment is the beginning of Kinetico's organizational corporate restructuring in Europe and reflects its focus on driving new European business.

Scholten has proven success in business-to-business competitive strategies. His understanding of critical sales and marketing issues facing Kinetico and the European market make him the ideal choice to lead Kinetico's European growth initiatives.

Scholten graduated with a master of economic sciences degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and holds a master of business administration from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. With previous experience in the water industry and work in the textile and fragrance industries, Scholten will easily make the transition to his responsibilities at Kinetico.
